One chants out between two worlds

INLAND EMPIRE press still
My boy recieved the Golden Lion award for Lifetime achievement yesterday at the Venice Film Festival. He is the award's youngest recipient ever. Tonight
INLAND EMPIRE also got its world premiere. US release date is still up in the air, but it will definitely be in the New York Film Festival on Sept. 29th. I'm hoping that after all this festival biz, it gets an end of the year release, but most likely you can expect it in February.
Here's some of the early word on Lynch's newest:
Variety
Guardian

Also,
Yahoo! has a bit about the press conference, but if you're a total freak like me, then you've already listened to the press conference found on this page.

I used to love DL. Until he put out that awful Twin Peaks prequel nonsense. That was it for me! (His Dune was seriously underrated by the critics. Then again, Americans can't handle anything with much depth.)

Speaking of movies: I don't remember whether or not you work Sunday night but I'm going to the NW Film Forum to see the Burn to Shine screening. I don't know if it's your style either but I thought I'd let you know. Risa has a lot of work to do so I'm looking for a date.

Hasta Sabado a la boda de la madre de Risa.
